1) Glue a strip of  coarse sandpaper to a 3” strip of cardboard which is folded across the middle –

4) Slip a thin rubber board over the ends of the folded strip.
5) Now pin the striker inside your coat pocket and ... 6) PRESTO! You have only to pull out the match to produce it blazing merrily!
