That’s how the coin passes through ![]() a borrowed handkerchief. | ||
1) Hold a penny or other large coin between the left thumb and forefinger.2) Cover coin and hand with the handkerchief. | ||
3) Grip coin and handkerchief firmly at X and turn coin ove r towards yourself.4) Fling handkerchief back over left hand, carefully nipping against the coin – to prove that the coin is still there. | ||
5. Shake handkerchief forward (coin is now gripped in an outside fold of linen), and twist the handkerchief.![]() 6. Keep on twisting and relax the grip of the left finger and thumb. The coin will slowly be squeezed out of its fold. | ||
7. The handkerchief is undamaged although the coin has passed right through it. It must be the Fourth Dimension – or Magic! | ||
