That’s how the coin passes through
a borrowed handkerchief.
|
|
1) Hold a penny or other large coin between the left thumb and forefinger.
2) Cover coin and hand with the handkerchief.
3) Grip coin and handkerchief firmly at X and turn coin ove r towards yourself.
4) Fling handkerchief back over left hand, carefully nipping against the coin – to prove that the coin is still there.
5. Shake handkerchief forward (coin is now gripped in an outside fold of linen), and twist the handkerchief.
6. Keep on twisting and relax the grip of the left finger and thumb. The coin will slowly be squeezed out of its fold. |
7. The handkerchief is undamaged although the coin has passed right through it. It must be the Fourth Dimension – or Magic! |
